March 03, 2022 - Trinity Information Technology, LLC (Trinity IT), a small business delivering federal IT solutions, is pleased to announce certification as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) business by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Trinity IT is immediately eligible for HUBZone program benefits, including HUBZone set-aside awards, HUBZone sole source awards, the HUBZone Price Evaluation Preference in full and open competition, and HUBZone reserves.
The SBA processes a small businesses application for HUBZone certification by verifying the program’s requirements for the applicant to operate in and employ residents of historically underutilized business zones. The federal government has a goal of awarding at least 3 percent of all federal contracting dollars to HUBZone-certified businesses each year. As a HUBZone-certified business, Trinity IT is eligible to compete for the HUBZone program’s set-aside contracts.
